Presentation Instructions

Contributions have been classified into papers and posters.

Papers

Authors of accepted papers should submit a video or a PowerPoint presentation (with video and/or audio) that will be shared with conference participants and will be used as backup in case connection fails during the assigned time slot. It must not last longer than 15 minutes. For preparing the presentation, you may use the official Power Point slides of CARMA 2020, which are available here.

Paper presentations will be scheduled in virtual rooms. Each paper is allocated 20 minutes, including Q&A, for presentation. The conference organization will encourage the interaction between authors and other participants to facilitate the discussion. The deadline for submitting the presentation to carmaconf@upv.es is July 3. Authors are encouraged to upload the videos to a streaming platform such as YouTube (with private sharing) or to use a file sharing service such as WeTransfer.

Posters

There will be a number of papers presented asĀ  “virtual poster” presentations during the conference. Each poster will be exhibited in its own virtual room, so that participants can move around the different rooms and have informal meetings with the authors. There will be a specific time slot in the conference schedule for these presentations.

Authors of poster presentations are encouraged to prepare a short PowerPoint presentation (3-4 slides max) to be used as support material during the informal meetings at the poster session.

Poster authors should also prepare a 1 minute video that will be projected in a One-minute Madness in the beginning of the poster session to all participants. This is a perfect opportunity for calling the attention on your research and invite participants to visit your poster room. This video should be sent to carmaconf@upv.es before July 6 and its duration is strictly limited to 1 minute.
